Dear ICS community,
As a follow-up to my earlier message, this email is to confirm that ICS will go into full home-based learning for Grades 1 to 12 starting this Wednesday, May 19. We are moving to online learning in accordance with the most up-to-date information we have received from the Ministry of Education (MOE) and the Committee for Private Education (CPE).
We understand that this will greatly impact all of our ICS families. As a school, we will work hard to ensure that high-quality learning continues and that our students, teachers, and families are supported throughout this significant disruption to school life. Tomorrow will be the last day for in-person instruction for Grades 1 to 12. Based on feedback from our K4 and K5 parent community, K4 and K5 students will continue to have classes on campus in line with the latest CPE advisory. K4 and K5 parents, please note that bus transportation services will still be available for your child; however, our canteen will be closed, so all K4 and K5 students will need to bring their lunches to school from home. More specific information will be forthcoming from divisional principals through Schoology for Middle and High School and email for Elementary School.
Thank you for allowing us to partner with you in the education of your child. God has been good and we are thankful for the opportunity to hold school on campus for the majority of this year. Our prayer is that we can finish strong and provide proper closure for your children.
Dr. James P. Rader
