March 23, Important information on online learning for March 30 - April 7

Dear ICS Community,

As previously announced, ICS will be extending spring break for students 23-27 March and will commence online learning from March 30 - April 7. At this time, we intend to resume on-campus classes on April 13.

Below we have outlined what is happening over the next few days:

March 23-25

  • No classes will be held.
  • Teachers will be preparing for online learning.

March 26-27

  • Thursday, March 26 (10:00 - 11:00 a.m., 1:00 - 2:00 p.m., and 6:00 - 7:00 p.m.), and Friday, March 27 (10:00 - 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 - 2:00 p.m.): Families will be able to collect technology and any additional materials in your child's homeroom (Elementary School) or advisory (Middle School) classroom.
    • Please print off a copy of the Online Learning Technology Code of Conduct and bring a signed copy when you pick up your technology. Pre-printed copies will also be available on campus.
    • Please note that we are unable to accommodate parents and students on campus who are not picking up technology.
    • We ask that parents leave their elementary school children at home.
    • Everyone must have an ID to come onto campus, and temperatures will be taken coming onto campus.
  • No classes will be held.
  • Teachers will be preparing lessons for online learning.

March 30 - April 7

  • Classes will be held online
  • On Mondays and Tuesdays, middle school and high school students will have live classes

Principals will be sending out a letter to parents shortly. Additionally, parents and students can find details for online learning expectations in the following documents:

On Thursday and Friday, some members of our leadership team will be on campus during technology pickup and are available to speak with you if you have questions regarding our move to online learning. Our friendly technology staff will also be available to help you should you have any questions regarding how to access Schoology or online resources. Please also feel free to call the front office with questions if you are not coming onto campus to pick up technology for your child.

If your family is on a Leave of Absence or a Stay Home Notice, please contact Dr. Sarah Donovan (curriculum@ics.edu.sg) regarding the delivery of technology and supplemental materials to your house.
