Seven Elementary and Middle School students from ICS attended a virtual Global Youth Leaders Summit to exchange ideas on pressing world matters. The summit was hosted by the Harmony Tree World Debate Society and led by representatives from the Aspen Institute. On the docket were insights and pedagogy from industry experts, case studies, and roundtable discussions.

The inaugural Singapore Education Awards concluded on the 5th of October. After three months of nominating, voting, and judging, International Community School (Singapore) won Silver in the "School Where Everybody Knows Your Name" category.

Expat Living Magazine's recent editorial, "School Choice: American Curriculum vs. IB," was published in collaboration with International Community School (Singapore), with input from Eric Laug (Academic Counselor) and Darryl Harding (Middle and High School Principal).

Kanghoon Lee (G10) and Gustavo Nakashita (G12), as a part of HS Math teacher Ruth Deibler's extracurricular "Math Competition" activity, were recently recognized for their outstanding scores in the University of Waterloo's Centre for Education in Mathematics and Computing, ranking in the top 25% of all contestants in their respective tests.

Longest Running Team Member, Miriam Burnett
