Registrar/Academic Assistant - Teaching & Learning

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Teaching & Learning Support

Assist in managing textbooks and curriculum resources
-
Coordinate with the Director of Teaching & Learning for in-service days and track teacher professional development records
-
Support standardized testing preparation and implementation
-
Ensure course information is updated annually in PowerSchool and Atlas, including reporting standards
-
Complete special projects as assigned by the Director of Teaching & Learning
Student Records Management
-
Create, activate, and deactivate student records in PowerSchool, maintaining accurate
enrollment data -
Ensure admission records are complete and properly filed digitally
-
Maintain report cards and transcripts in student files
-
File test scores (e.g. NWEA MAP, PSAT) in a timely manner
-
Distribute student records upon request (e.g. Certificate of Enrollment, report cards, transcripts)
-
Process student withdrawals, completing cumulative files
-
File all required documentation in student records as per policies
-
Assist with data gathering and generating administrative reports
-
Update and maintain current student visa information
Other Responsibilities:

Participate in weekly devotions and assist with attendance as per scheduled
-
Participate in school community activities
-
Assist the Teaching and Learning Team for day to day tasks and events
-
Perform other related duties as required and assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
-
Bachelor's degree (minimum)
-
Excellent interpersonal skills and team player mentality
-
Strong problem-solving, documentation, and organizational abilities with keen attention to detail
-
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, in English
-
Proficiency in Google Suite products (preferred)
-
Experience with PowerSchool (preferred)

Self-starter with a growth mindset
-
Community-minded approach to work
-
Ability to lift textbooks and navigate stairs
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Must be able to lift and carry textbooks
-
Capable of walking up and down stairs
-
Availability to travel independently for professional development opportunities locally and
internationally
