TITLE: Human Resource Manager
REPORTS TO: School Director
COORDINATES: Principals, Supervisor, Teachers, Office Staff
SUPERVISES: Member Care Coordinator
JOB GOAL: To develop, implement, and organize Human Resource strategies, services, programs, and policies. Advocate of ICS people.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
HR Strategy -
- Builds and strengthens the employer/employee relationship as the trusted HR advisor to the ICS people.
- Develop strategies to drive workplace equity, transparency, staff retention, and professional growth
- Operationalizing and continuously improving HR initiatives that invest in the ICS people
- Develop, review, and implement HR policies for school-wide consistency
- Strategic alignment of HR, school strategy, and compliance with Singapore laws and regulations, and other labor and licensing requirements
- Participate in the projection of staffing needs for the annual budget proposal and costing.
HR Operations -
- Partners with hiring managers throughout the recruitment process, fulfilling all paperwork and legalities involved from hiring to exit - processing and management of visas, contracts, insurance, etc.
- Leads the coordination of HR activities in on-boarding/off-boarding, orientation, assimilation programs, succession planning, and talent management.
- Partners with Member Care to develop and implement appreciation systems to promote staff wellbeing and welfare.
- Maintenance, audit, and control of employee information, compliant with international Data Protection regulations.
- Work closely with Finance for all finance-related compensation matters
Communication & Personal Development -
- Identify issues within your areas of responsibility and ensure that those issues are understood by the Leadership team, and regularly update your supervisor on your plans and status.
- Develop and implement a personal professional development plan that will continue to build your skills, knowledge base, and leadership skills.
Other Responsibilities -
- Participation in school events, meetings, and functions
- Perform other related duties as required and assigned by the school management, supervisor, or committee

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:
- In-depth knowledge and experience with operational and human resource laws and practices, employee relations, organizational planning, and excellent people management skills.
- A team player with above-average oral and written communication skills, able to communicate clearly and work effectively with employees from diverse backgrounds.
- Demonstrates excellent people management skills. Able to adapt and work proactively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent analytical skills to provide appropriate data-driven solutions
- Demonstrates ability to practice a high level of ethics, integrity, and confidentiality
- Prior work experience in an international school environment is highly desirable
- Knowledge of PDPA and GDPR is highly desirable
- IHRP Certification is an added advantage
