Athletics Coordinator

The Athletics Coordinator strategically plans, supports, and implements the schoolwide ICS sports program in order to offer a wide range of opportunities for ICS students, and actively support and promote the mission and vision of the school.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Communications

• An excellent sports and events communicator for Stakeholders

• Able to do forward planning, prepare schedules, and share expectations and updates with stakeholders

• Able to communicate school-wide expectations and timely update to stakeholders and update events as well as schedule

• Update sports results to the community weekly via principal emails, weekly announcements, and annually in the annual report

Sports

• Review, update and articulate Athletic conferences with all stakeholders

• Able to provide guidelines for those involved in programs.

• Liaise with parent organizations relative to all sports events at school

• Coordinate coaching positions for all team and events

• Support all coaches, officials, volunteers, and personnel in effectively meeting the goals of the ICS sports programs

• Provide input on the growth and evaluation of all coaching staff

• Ensure that all sporting events are in line with the mission and learning goals of the school

• Coordinate all administrative duties related to ICS sporting events

• Coordinate all interscholastic sports and activities for the entire school, and ensure that adequate support available

• Onboard all outside vendors/volunteers with training and paperwork

Resource Management / Finances

• Able to propose and monitor operational budgets for all sporting events and travel

• Manage stipend payments and other operational expense payments to vendors, etc.

• Organize and manage bus schedules and payments
