ICS Parent-Teacher Fellowship (PTF)

The ICS Parent-Teacher Fellowship been an active and integral part of the school since its founding in 1993. We are a volunteer service organization whose primary function is to foster fellowship between parents and the teachers at International Community School, Singapore (ICS). We serve and support the ICS community through facilitating fellowship, assisting with school-sponsored special events, and fundraising activities. Membership is extended to all parents and legal guardians of ICS students, as well as all faculty and staff.

The PTF invites all parents, faculty, and staff to be a part of His work at ICS.

Below are some ways you can be involved at ICS through the PTF, and be a blessing to the school.

Bible Studies, Crafting and Fellowship

ICS is not just a school where your children will grow and learn in a Christian, Bible-based educational system; we also offer a place for non-working spouses.  As a community of many cultures, the PTF strives to provide an inviting environment for fellowship, friendship, and fun.

The PTF meets regularly for Bible Study, Crafting and Fellowship. The Bible Study Sessions endeavor each person to learn more about God’s word and have a closer walk with the Lord.  Our weekly crafting workshops run by fellow PTF artisans and guests, enable us to make use of our creativity and make items for our Annual Christmas Craft Fair, School Plays and artful creations for our homes.  A scrapbooking group has also been formed for both parents who are interested to learn or share their expertise in this craft.

Moms in Touch Prayer Group

ICS is a member of Moms-in-Touch International (http://www.momsintouch.org) Mothers meet weekly for an hour or so to pray for our children, faculty members, and the whole school. We hope you will be led to join us for a time of praise, thanksgiving, and lifting up our children, their teachers, and the school in prayer.

Workshops, Lessons, Special Events

The PTF also holds various parent talks with special resource persons that address the needs of our kids of today.  We also have year-round workshops, cooking lessons and weekly English as a Second Language (ESL) lessons.  Monthly bake sales, coffee-mornings, BBQ’s and interesting excursions throughout Singapore are some examples of fun activities.  Having fellowship is an integral part of our meetings and endeavor all ICS parents to join and take part in the many offerings PTF provides.
