FunRun 2012
It is that time of year again! Every year our community gets together for an annual 5K Fun Run. This is an opportunity for you to give back to the school, while at the same time, challenge yourself with completing a 5K!
This year the funds raised by the Fun Run will help support the growing athletic program at ICS. 60% of our 4th-12th grade students participate throughout the year in sports at ICS. We are adding sports and opportunities for more of our students to be able participate. With this growing program comes added expenses and more opportunities for our students. The funds raised will not only help buy new equipment and uniforms, but allow our student athletes to travel to other countries to play.
We are looking for your help in a couple of different ways. One way you can help is to sign up as a family or individual to participate in the 5K Fun Run. The two registration forms are attached. Registration fee for adults is $25 and children is $15. There is a 750M race for children 10 & below, and the registration for that is $15. Registration forms are also available to download below.
Another way to help is to volunteer. You can be a marshal on the day of the run, donating fruit or water, or help with other needs on race day. Please contact Ms. Alicia Bandy at .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) if you would like to volunteer.
We are also looking for families (and businesses) to sponsor the 5th Annual Fun Run. Sponsorships are for the 5K Fun Run t-shirts.
