ICS is committed to providing your children with an excellent education and a supportive learning environment, in a caring and positive school community. We are a mid-sized school offering an American curriculum from Kindergarten to Grade 12, with a Christian ethos open to students of differing nationalities, races and faiths.

The Elementary and Middle schools students score above the US norm and demonstrate appropriate growth in the MAP (Measures of Academic Progress) test.  The High School program is college preparatory offering Advanced Placement (AP) and Honors Classes. The school has one National Merit Scholar and several National Merit Commended and AP scholars since its inception.

Academic Excellence & Achievements:

In 2012:

  • Fifty-seven (57)  students took ninety-six (96) AP exams. 88% scored a 3 or higher.
  • 77% of the Class of 2012 took at least one AP exam before graduating and 57% took at least two.
  • Our SAT scores averaged:
  • 580 - Critical Reading
  • 678 - Math
  • 625 - Writing


New Standardized Test-Measure of Academic Progress (MAP)

This past year ICS began using the MAP (Measure of Academic Progress) test as our standardized testing for grades 1 to 8.  Unlike the SAT (administered only once a year) MAP is administered three times a year.  Each testing results let our faculty see growth (or non-growth).  ICS students 2011-2012 MAP scores show that these are above the US norm and demonstrate appropriate growth.
