The Library Resource Center serves the entire ICS community from Junior Kindergarten through High School, as well as our faculty and parents. Our elementary students enjoy a scheduled time in the LRC on a weekly basis where they are introduced to many types of books and authors. They are also taught information literacy skills which equip them to navigate their way around the library and where research skills are developed.

Library Resource CenterThe middle and high school students are encouraged to come in before school, during lunch, and after school to do research on the computers, as well as their homework. Teachers are encouraged to bring their classes to the LRC during the day as well. Our collection supports the curriculum and is built through student, parent, and teacher suggestions. The LRC sponsors several activities throughout the year such as the Read-a-thon, author visits, movie nights, and Dr. Seuss Day. Our students and parents find the Library Resource Center to be a relaxing and enjoyable place to visit where a love for learning and reading can develop.
