Greetings from the Elementary Principal

I am so excited that the 2012-2013 year has started. Every morning, as I walk into our school, I thank God for the opportunity to be able to touch student’s lives in some way.  This makes our school wide theme of investing in people something I joyfully live out each day!

With this in mind, it is my hope and prayer that you, your child’s teacher, and I can be a network of support and encouragement to your child during their time with us at ICS. Working as a team, we must strive in assisting your child to become a productive and responsible citizen in our global community and help them in their pursuit of excellence academically, emotionally, and spiritually. It is an honor to serve you and your child here at ICS-Singapore.

The ICS Elementary

The educational process is a partnership between the parents and teachers. Parents play a vital role in the development and education of their children and their success in school. From you, the child learns family values, cultural traditions and customs, and native language skills. Your efforts prepare them to continue their learning adventure at school as thinking, creative, and caring students.

We, as partners in your child’s education, are responsible for providing him/her with meaningful learning experiences. Each teacher expands upon their curriculum with their professional and personal experience, expertise, or interests to develop a stimulating and positive classroom experience.

We believe open communication between home and school allows for a sharing of expectations. Together, we can help your child develop his/her full potential as lifelong learners.
